Hello lovelies, after seeing Jackie’s new meme release to allow us to FANGIRL – we just had to participate!! So today – we’re gonna start with the good ol’ SUPERHEROES!!

A Brief Explanation of Fierce Fangirl Friday

FFF gives you the opportunity to do some healthy fangirling on your blog!

Whenever you have something, anything to fangirl about – whether it be a book, TV show, music, celebrities, your pet, the universe, finding your soulmate or just a recent meal that you’ve had – Fierce Fangirl Friday is your opportunity to do so! It doesn’t matter if it’s a recent obsession of yours or something you’ve been loving for a while!

So without further ado – let us begin!! 

Superheroes Releases:

You guys must’ve seen those epic trailers on TV, Youtube…somewhere – it was the trailer for Wonder Women that made us want to do this post!! After reading so many books with badass female protagonists, we REALLY wanted to watch a movie that gave us the same exhilarating feeling we get when reading those books!

Hopefully, we are not let down by Warner Bros. take on Wonder Women. We really want this to go WELL! WE DEMAND IT!! We hope Gal Gadot portrays Wonder Women like we want her to be – BADASS! We’re not doing too much today – ‘cuz if we continue we won’t stop with all this Wonder Women business!

We think in this new MCU reboot of Spider-Man: Homecoming, casting Tom Holland is PERFECT! At first, we were wary – but after looking at it more closely – He’s the right age (kinda), has the right amount of clumsiness, is sarcastic and his voice is just soo PETER-ISH!! We do like ourselves a bit of Andrew Garfield – but we believe the problem with all these Spider-Man movies is that these actors…were not young enough?

For those who don’t know who Tom Holland is – you may remember him from 2012’s The Impossible (which we loved), and we thought his acting was just ACE!! So really MCU must know what they’re doing…right?

Thor, let’s be honest is the one of the least popular amongst the heroes. But seeing this trailer gives us hope that MCU is taking action to make him one of our favourite! We believe Thor: Ragnarok may be the best out of the Thor movies! OH! We also want to see Loki – it’s been way too long! 😉

  1. I’m excited to see both Wonder Woman and Spider Man. I really hope that Wonder Woman is good. DC needs a win and I really don’t want the first female super hero movie to suck. I’ve been waiting for Spider Man ever since Civil War. Tom Holland stole the movie and I cannot wait to see what he does in the lead role. We shall see.

    1. We too are soo EXCITED!! It’s a shame that DC has been less successful in the cinematic universe than Marvel! Yes, we gotta admit Holland really stole the show with his clumsiness! 😉 XD XD

      1. I think DC’s biggest problem is that its trying to much to be like Marvel instead of doing their own thing. Thats just my opinion though.

      4. Unfortunately we haven’t watched that – but we know a person (and now also you) who watched it, but she stopped… If we start watching more than our usual amount (Doctor Who, Sherlock etc) we won’t stop that’s for sure! Perhaps when we’re older! 😊 🤓❤

  3. My dad and I are soooo excited to see all the new superhero movies that are coming out. My dad even wants to see Wonder Woman with me which surprises me. My dad and I do movie sundays together as a way to spend time together so we always plan them around new movie releases.

    1. That’s sooo cute! 😊❤ You guys must be very close and it’s cool that he wants to watch a..somewhat feminine type of movie with you – who wouldn’t want to watch such a wicked movie😎!! It’s a shame that in our family it’s only us twins that have a love for superheros!! At least we have each other! Though our family are usually forced to watch it with us 😁😉 🤓

      1. Yeah well he is the only person who enjoys going to movies as much as I do. We are pretty close and heck he even watched Frozen with me in theaters. You can just casually tell them it’s for a different movie.

      2. ❤❤❤ Awww that’s too adorable! “Casually” they would then just tag along..😅 It’s all good – they just are usually left clueless of what’s going on…they get the idea but not enough detail for the complicated world that is the superhero world 🤓

  4. YES YES YES YES YES. Tom Holland as Spiderman is wondrous. Personally, I was never a big Spiderman fan, but he brought it so much in Cap America 3, that I cannot waitttttttttttttttttt for it. SO. MUCH. WANT. And then Thor. And Wonder Woman. Oh gosh, this is going to be an amazing year! Wonderful post, ladies!!

    1. We believe if he hadn’t made that cameo – people would be less excited! But once you get that little taste of how awesome he could be as Peter/Spider-Man, you cannot get enough!! Hopefully this year – the superhero movies shall not disappoint!! Thanks! 😆 🤓❤❤

  5. I just watched Guardians of the Galaxy 2 last weekend and it was SO good! Even better than the first I’d say. It was absolutely hilarious and super emotional. I need this out on blu-ray so I can watch it on repeat!!

    1. Oooh we still need to watch it! Some have said the first one was better than the second – so we were a bit wary that this (GotG Vol.2) would tarnish our view on GotG! Looks like it won’t be too much of a problem though – we like funny stuff 😉🤓❤

    1. CAN WE READ MINDS??! ….Sure we can 😉🤓 We’ve been eyeing this meme of yours for quite some time and we couldn’t participate before due to exams – so we decided to do it now!! Plus we wanted to FANGIRL about something that could make people get to know us better (other than through books – which we LOVE!)!

      In our family it’s mainly us two (out of a family of 4) that hype about superheroes! We literally cannot wait to watch all these! We need a strong women superhero!! And Thorrrr…and Loki😉😎
      Tom Holland, we can just tell, is just gonna be awesome!! And we just cannot wait!! We love all the sassy/awkwardness that oozes out of him!!

  13. These all sound super great! Wonder Woman will be awesome, I’m sure, and Spider Man looks so cute and sweet hahaha
    I don’t know why Thor is not as popular as other superheroes. Personally, I love mythology and anything to do with it so there’s nothing not to like 🙂 Also, he’s a pretty epic character ^^

      1. I hadn’t yet until you mentioned it and OMG. I totally lost it when they showed Mjolnir “taking a nap” on a makeshift cradle (drawer) XD SO CUTE!
        Let’s hope so! He certainly deserves it as he’s completely overshadowed by Loki (who’s also awesome, I admit, but c’mon, give Thor some love!)
