THE RULES
Let’s begin this princess business!
[We put links to the Goodreads profile of the books mentioned down below]
SNOW WHITE – THIS BOOK (LIKE THE MOVIE) STARTED IT ALL
Favorite Debut Book From an Author
We have many favourite debut books, but most of them we mentioned (Anglefall, Throne of Glass etc.) So here’s an underrated one – Slated (Slated trilogy #1) By Teri Terry
CINDERELLA – A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH
Just Like Cinderella, You Either Didn’t Expect Much Out of This Character in the Beginning But Turned Out to Be a Total Jem
Lysandra from the Throne of Glass series By Sarah J. Maas! If you read the prequel – The Assassin’s Blade, you would know exactly why we thought bad of her! Now we can say she is a total Badass!!
Honourable mention: has to be Kaltain Rompier…
Check out our reviews on the first and second book!
AURORA – SLEEPING BEAUTY
A Book That Makes You Sleepy or Just Could Not Hold Your Attention
Heist Society By Ally Carter – I (Tanya) read this and it just wasn’t my style (doubt it’ll ever be my style) – it was an interesting concept but in the end after reading it, I just didn’t…care about what was going on or the characters etc. Thus I put off my sister (Shanya) from reading this…um…not so cool book!
ARIEL – UNDER THE SEA
A Book With a Water/Ocean Setting
Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters By Rick Riordan – We have the son of Poseidon (sea god) and the Sea of Monsters!! If this book doesn’t have much of a sea setting, then you still have the MC as the water guy!!
Check out our review for the first book – Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief #1 By Rick Riordan
BELLE – BEAUTY AND THE BOOKS
Name a Book With the Best Bookworm/Book Lover
Obsidian (Lux series) By Jennifer L. Armentrout!! She’s (Katy) a book vlogger!! So it must mean she read books!!
JASMINE – THE THIEF AND THE PRINCESS
Name Book with an Unlikely Love Story (Either in Terms of Romance or a Book You Didn’t Expect to Love So Much)
*SPOILER* Warner and Juliette from the Shatter Me series By Tahereh Mafi! For the first time when we read this – we sooo did not see this coming!! And we LOVEEEE ‘EM!! ♥♥♥♥WARNETTE FOEVA!! ♥♥♥♥
P.S. For those who are unaware – Mafi decided to prolong this fab trilogy and make it a sixology (series) AHHH!! AND IT (Restore Me #4) IS GOING TO BE RELEASED 3 DAYS AFTER OUR B-DAY…next year!!
POCAHONTAS – THE REAL LIFE PRINCESS
Name a Book that is Based on a Real Life Person You Want to Read/Have Read
In Order To Live By Yeonmi Park and Maryanne Vollers – We don’t know if we’ll ever read this but it certainly deserves a mention! It’s about a 13-year-old girl fleeing North Korea with her mother – She decided to share her story in hope to find her lost sister!
MULAN – THE PRINCESS THAT SAVED HER COUNTRY
Name the Fiercest Heroine You Know
The Archeron Sisters in A Court of Thorns and Roses trilogy By Sarah J. Maas – their relationship seems to develop throughout the books (and they seem to get badass-ier and badass-ier…if that’s even a word LOL).
TIANA – THE PRINCESS WITH THE COOLEST AND MOST DIVERSE CREW
Name a diverse book whether it is a diverse set of characters (like Tiana’s group of Naveen, Louis, Ray, and more) or just diverse in general
Nicola Yoon seems to write diverse books (she’s done two so far; Everything, Everything and The Sun is Also A Star) – with her MC being from different backgrounds/ethnicity etc.
Check out our review on Everything, Everything.
RAPUNZEL – LET YOUR LONGGGGGG HAIR DOWN
Name the Longest Book You’ve Ever Read
The Mortal Instruments: City of Heavenly Fire (#6) By Cassandra Clare at 725 pages in the Hardcover edition.
Check out our review on the first book – City of Bones.
And one we plan to read – The Dark Artifices: Lord of Shadows (#2) By Cassandra Clare at 699 pages in the Hardback edition.
Honourable mention: A Court of Wings and Ruin (ACOTAR #3) By Sarah J. Maas at 699 pages in the paperback edition.
MERIDA – I DETERMINE MY OWN FATE
A Book Where There is No Love Story/Interest or Isn’t Needed
Stalking Jack the Ripper (#1) By Kerri Maniscalco – sure there is a love interest, but it doesn’t show much romance (and when it does – it’s cute and light as it can be in the Victorian era)! Audrey Rose Wadsworth – cool independent woman, who don’t need no man!! (but gets one anyway 😉 )
Guys read this now!! Well before September 19th… before the release of Hunting Prince Dracula, the second installment of this historical mystery thriller!
ANNA/ELSA – FROZEN HEARTS
A Book in a Winter/Cold Setting
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe By C. S. Lewis – if you haven’t read the book, you surely must have watched the movie!! CHILDHOOD!
MOANA – HOW FAR I’LL GO
A Character That Goes on a Journey
Kell in A Darker Shade of Magic (Shades of Magic #1) By V. E. Schwab – He’s one of the last (magical) traveler called Antari, who can travel between the 4 Londons – except there are now three… He goes on a long journey with a “cross-dressing thief” to rid of something unwanted.

Ooooooh, love your answers for this!! It was so much fun to read. 😀 I totally agree about A Darker Shade of Magic. You twins were the ones that gave me the final push to read it, and I’m so glad that I did because it was amazingggggggg. And oh goodness, I remember Heist Society. I remember sort of liking it, but I really can’t remember anything about it. Not a single thing. And then I think I tried to read the second book and it put me in a slump too. So, I feel the same. So sorry it made you want to stop. D: And wow, those are some big books. o.o Clare loves her big books. XD Wonderful job, twins, and I loveddddddddddddd reading it. Thanks so much for doing it!!! 😀

Aw thanks❤!!! We’re greatly honoured that you decided to read it after we gave you that final push to do so! 😊 We now need to read the second book – which we hope will live up to our expectations! It’s a shame that Heist Society didn’t sit well with us (well one of us – the other just got put off and had better things to read😉😎) Cassie Clare really knows her how to make readers intrigued enough to continue this ginormous series!! Thanks for reading (and nominating us) and lovingggggg our super long post!!😊😊❤

My friend is reading it now, and she said that it is rather slow, but amazing. A lot more focused on characters. But I think we shall all be good with it since the characters are so good. XD But yes! I really liked her other series, though. LOL,that same friend loves that series and devours all of them, so to have that kind of dedication means Clare is doing something good. XD But of course! I didn’t even realize how long it was until I saw just how much princesses there were. XD

Ahhh, a bit of character development is healthy!! And Clare is sooo doing whatever she is doing – very well!! Yea we had to count all those questions, so we wouldn’t get lost – but it was very fun to do!! XD XD
